An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedHello, Anonymous.
I do something similar and curious
How do you know when it is time to review each one of many 'packs' of cards ?
And you also have Spanish and French - on the top of it.
Thank you.

Vit supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedAnnki and Supermemo have many User definable options to affect the scheduling.
Supermemo started it in the SM-5 algorithm.
Anki used it for awhile but dropped it and instead introduced some options to change the scheduling.
Among them is an option to change the scheduled date in the Browser ( on 1 or more cards at once).IMO, to allow user to affect the schedule ( as Option) is the most important suggestion; we selected
Mnemosyne for its scheduling; but the program excluded user from the process; that is unfortunate
because there are many instances where a user's input is invaluable.An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedI support the idea of user providing a 'customised' feedback to the Algorithm.
I favor adding the Interval buttons { 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 10 15};
they would allow the user to chose the next repetition Interval for a given card.
I've been using Mnemosyne daily for 5mo, 1100 Vocabulary cards. What is evident to me - some cards show up too early; others - too late. -

I like your idea; question is - did you implement it ?
If not, pls post it on the forum so that more people will see it and if there is an interest - I would post it here as a separate idea.PS.
I do not support the original idea ; all of that can be BETTER done manually ( as Peter suggested ); you will monitor the progress daily on the graph !!!! -

An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedThere is a VERY useful plugin "Cards Statistics" which MUST be de-activated ( ? before ?) Cramming is ON. Since we , without doubt, will forget to coordinate these plugins, there will be concequences. Unless a pop-up message warns user to deactivate the 'Cards Statistics' plugin and inter-related plugin 'Statistics Abbreviations'.
The "Cards Statistics" is the Star here; the second one is the necessary ancillary. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedThe "Successfully Learned" means different thing for different people; different areas of study. Hence, we would need a few user-definable options; like:
* show Next card after the first/Previous card was:
a) Reviewed { 3 4 5 ..... times }
b) Graded { options for 3 4 5 }--------- Point-2:
Sister cards should be included. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedPeter, would you please add { on Review Information Bar } the Last graded card Next interval.
That info would help to decide whether or not to 'Redo' the Last card.
The reason of "Undo last" is to change the Next interval not the grade per se. Without seeing the Next interval, users will just waste time re-grading Mature cards { interval 1 mo or more } because on Mature cards it will not matter whether you grade it 2 3 or 4 ; the cards will be scheduled a few months in the future. I verified it many times.
This option will be very useful for the first few repetitions -- when Interval variation makes huge impact on the recall.Thanks

An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedThere is a perfect workaround for Windows :
Hotkey SHIFT_ALT { shaired by Michael Campbel}.An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedThere is a typo in the Header. Should read:
"...... in Question Field."

An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedOne of Bono's idea is:
1). Let users decide the next review time
{ in the above case ? - is it for very matured cards only ? }
This is very appealing if applied to New cards, too.
User grading now is a wild guess - you do not know what
the next rep Interval will be.
But allowing the user ( at early stages - like 30 days? )
to choose the next Interval ( instead of bottons designed
for an Average user) would give him an option to try
different "Accelerated Intervals";
and accumulate statistics on them { Retention % };
and twick the Intervals to suit the ACTUAl ( not an average ) user.After 30 days or so, SRS will learn the user's memory skills
better then with existing Grading bottons thus, will schedule much better.Idea 2: " ... users ... ask Mnemosyne to provide an additional review ... "
will be usefull after 30 days or earlier - because the Mnemo jumps
{ based on my observations } from 1mo interval, to 3-4 mo .
These extra reviews are to be recognised by the system.This is my priority 1 item.

An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedSome thoughts:
1.Scribbling the gist of the answer (if you can not remember it ?) on paper has advantages over typing:
a) it helps memorizing
b) a respite for the eyes
c) no Bugs possibility
d) don't need the SRS to compare answers - the Answer in the card supposed to be concise. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedUnfortunately, this suggestion does not improve the Operational Efficiency or User Friendliness.
Considering Peter's response "... Could be quite expensive to generate these statistics..", it seems to me that the benefits of the request is not commensurate with the cost. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Vit commentedWhen I create a Front-to-back card to learn words, I add a tag 'sss' {it tells me that there is no provision made to display a Sister card }.
When the card scheduled and I grade it 4-5, I may switch to FB-BF type and remove the tag 'sss'; or wait one more round .
---- PS. You can see the tag 'sss' on the Review screen - it is your 'indication'. I'm so glad that Tags show up there; it allows me to display useful info about each card. -

Either add "Select all" button or
2. Allow the keyboard "Shift" button to select the Range. And / or
3. Allow keyboard "Ctrl" key along with the Arrow up-down key to select and skip tags going down the list.
4. Also, increase the Height and Width of the "Remove Tags" window.
What problems this request would solve In multi-tag environment:
1. faster selection
2. Obviates Scrolling
