Mnemosyne web server hosted on the internet
It would be nice to have a web site with Mnemosyne functionality.
I realize that is totally different application and could not be built around current Mnemosyne app, but anyway, I think that would be great.

Activate cards based on grade or date created
Extend the current 'Activate cards' dialog such that you can activate e.g. only the unlearned cards, or cards added during the last week.
Could be useful for learning new cards before going through the scheduled cards, or for cramming recently added cards.

Enable distribution of x days of scheduled learning elements to y days
Typically I enter new cards in "bulks" of same topic. Let us say that I in a couple of days enter 500 cards bulk topic A.
I am eager to learn them quickly. After some days "calculating statistic" reveals that in x days scheduled cards per day will suddenly drop dramatically.
At the same time I realise that I would benefit from spending some time learning another basic topic before chewing into bulk A. It would then be very convenient to tell mnemosyne: Please take the 500 cards (tag = Z) you have scheduled for repetition the next 10 days…

Statistics tab for "how many cards memorized"
Its very motivating to see how your knowledge has increased over time. It would be nice to have a bar graph that shows, over the last month/year/etc., how many cards were "in the user's memory" at that time. The criterion could just be that the card existed at that time, or was at a certain score, or was up to a certain number of days between repetitions. In the simplest case (just seeing if the card existed), it would basically be the integral of the "cards added over time" graph. It would be great to see some graph that showed…

Activate sister cards manually
Example: When learning a language the passive understanding of the new language is easier than actively recalling words and phrases in the new language. When learning German i prefer to train "der Junge"? = "the boy" for a while before training "the boy"? = "der Junge".
So: When editing a "Front to back" card it would be super to have an indication "This card has no sister" and the option "please create the 'Back to front' version of this card".
(Using this functionality a lot of the "sister-cards on same day" discussion would fade...)4 votes -
Supermemo import
A robust supermemo import function would avoid me having to do my repetitions in both tools. The import has to carry over the learning history (difficulty and next interval or similar).
