Fix the ruby text with the wrong size when not used in Vocabulary cards
Right now, when using foreign scripts and ruby mark-up, the font size of the text on the ruby caption is of the same size as normal text, which makes it look terrible.
I suppose this is caused by the "increase size of non-latin characters" feature, and it just sets the same font size for all the text that isn't latin.
I would say this is just a small bug, so it would be nice to have it fixed for when you are not using Vocabulary cards.

Thank you!

You could be right. Anyway, I'll put this on my TODO list to investigate further, but not at the very top :-)

No. I used a fresh database to test it, and all the cards use the same font. It also happens with other fonts, including the ones that come default.
Again, I really think it's that feature just setting the same font size to all the non-latin text, regardless of whether or not it's ruby text (maybe it can be fixed in the stylesheet Mnemosyne uses?, I don't know how it operates internally, sorry). Although, I'm not sure why would it do that if it's being set to zero...
I hope I could help with something else.

The only thing which I think could cause this difference is that you've set a different font for that field in the different card types you use.
Is that the case?

It also of course happens with mixed text too: http://i.imgur.com/zuKT6l9.png

Sorry, maybe I was a little ambiguous.
Basically, this is how ruby text looks like in a Vocabulary-type card: http://i.imgur.com/x17WhaX.png, the ruby text is smaller than the main text.
This is how this same ruby looks like in any other card type: http://i.imgur.com/o8OHePg.png, the ruby text is the same size of the main text.
It happens for all cards types except Vocabulary-type, even Sentence-type or Cloze-type.I assume it has to do with that feature because this doesn't happen with Latin characters in ruby. Here's how that looks in all card types: http://i.imgur.com/XwErqSZ.png
It doesn't really affect me much. In fact, I only really remembered it when testing the new version with Front-back-type cards. But I can see how it can be a problem for anyone else, especially studying Japanese sentences.

OK, so it has nothing to do with 'increase size of ...' then.
Are you saying it works with Vocabulary card types, but not e.g. with Front-to-back only card types?
I'm still trying to understand your request. Screenshots might help.

No, it still happens. I'm only assuming it's because of that feature because it works fine with non-latin characters (if you put latin characters in a ruby tag).

If you put 'increase size of non-latin characters' to zero, do you get what you want?
