Add easy solution to change user ID and password
I forgot my passcode and noticed it when I tried to sync Mnemosyne with an other device. I could not find any solution to that.

Formatting of code blocks
More options for flashcards involving code would be nice. Right now code is formatted the same way as other words (in serif font), and no indentation is possible

Cram cards on mobile platform
I really miss the cram feature on the android phone.
It has only 2 options:Select study mode
Scheduled -> forgotten -> new

Text to Speech
It would be lovely if TTS could be included though I suspect this would be v. difficult due to the availability of decent free TTS engines and voices. Perhaps someone out there knows more than I.

Bug report
There is nowhere to report a bug!!
when I type an answer and some lines are rtl and some other lines are ltr (english and persian) ,
then when I start to study the cards, the answer could be show only in "rtl", or "centered" or "ltr" !! I want to see my answer in both (rtl lines and ltr line),
Work around I use to see the corrected format is hit "ctrl+e" and when I see edit page, the format is correct

Allow a fixed lay-out
I use Mnemosyne among other things for Bible verse memorisation, which means that the front is just a short reference, whereas the back has much more text and varies in length. For larger passages, the lay-out automatically adapts to show a smaller front box and a larger back box - but when a short verse comes it jumps back to equal-sized boxes, which is distracting.
It would be nice if there were a way to hint the program that the front box can always be small - or better yet, if the program could deduce that itself from inspecting the…3 votesWill be in next version

allow visual formatting options for questions/answers. Font, color, background, border ...
The visual appearance of information is a huge learning aid.
I would love to see Mnemosyne add support for such features. It could also provide some very interesting data about how visual cues can improve recollection.
An implementation should of course allow support for importing formatting from other software in the future.

Allow one-sided vocabulary cards
I think this is useful for rarely used foreign words which have quite quotidian meanings. For instance, let's say there's a Chinese word that means "immediately" that is only used in literary contexts. I would like to be able to recognize this word, but I don't want to be asked to produce it because there are so many words in Chinese that could be translated as "immediately." At the same time, I don't want to simply make a front-to-back card because of the formatting limitations.

to add option to import anki-flashcard database
Add support to import anki database because ther vice-versa exists and anki users can import mnemosyne database.
And another is that....I want to sync my iphone has Repetitions with windows program but I cant do that. I think there should be something like anki that program can be synced with multi platform database and the core data should be stored in cloud.

Auto send text to clipboard function (to get text-to-speech to speak)
Hello,
I was wondering if you could add a function to automatically send text to our computer's clipboard from Mnemosyne so that we can sync Mnemosyne with a text-to-speech program.
For example, the codes like these(http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/22899/Talking-Clipboard, https://csharphardcoreprogramming.wordpress.com/2015/01/12/clipboard-to-text-to-speech-tts/
) monitor the Windows clipboard and read the newly received text contents.
So, if Mnmosysne send the text in the front/back filed, or the field dedicated to this function, which could be better as some front/back field might contain HTML codes or memos, when the front/back card shows up, the programs will read it aloud for us.

Manually learn a specific card
It would be nice to be able to learn a specific card out of the catalog. Simply add some entry to the context menu like "learn this card now" and it opens in a new window.
I need this, because when I forgot to learn cards yesterday, I learn those before the ones of today. And if I don't manage to learn all of today too, I can't get too the old ones from yesterday, because the queue is so, that it sets the cards from today before those from yesterday. to correct an important error translating the programm into Spanish
First of all, thank you for this marvellous programm!
"Upload anonymous science logs" has been bad translated as "Subir etiquetas anonimas de ciencia" which is completely wrong and makes confusion about what it is made for.
I would translate it as "Subir logaritmos anónimos de uso científico"

Only missed cards
In College I used a flash card program that had a feature that would allow you to go through the deck once and then have the option of creating a new deck of only the missed cards to go through again, and then the option to only take missed cards within this deck and it keeps repeating until there are no more missed cards to repeat. I found this method extremely fast and efficient for cramming before an exam. It kept me on the top 5% of my class.

As an option, allow double sided cards not to be both actualized when edited
As a matter of fact, I often create cards (with 1.2.2) which I personnalize as a new question or answer when reviewing and editing. 2.3.3 version doesn't seem to allow this as both cards are changed at the same time.
For example, say I create this double side card :
Q: Who wrote "The metamorphosis" ?
A: Frans Kafka (with a picture of the author)When reviewing the reverse card, I simply edit and change it to :
Q: Czech author Frans Kafka wrote his most famous novel in 1915. What's its title ?

Option to go through non-memorized cards in a once-through fashion
This would support an approach where you go through each non-memorized card exactly once per day, not repeating it anymore during that day.
In my experience, flashcard repetition in a single day is not particularly effective, for me at least it's much easier to go through the non-memorized cards exactly once per day, and when I already know them when they're shown in a day, that's when I finally mark them as learned.
Currently, the flashcard algorithm makes this impossible, since it keeps showing me the same cards over and over, which for me is very ineffective, I would much…

duplicate card detection
it would be nice to have a feature that when you want to add a new card , as you input the front then it search and give you a feedback that this front card is duplicate or not , it would be nice to show this feedback with a very very light green and red background
3 votesThis is already implemented. If you add a card with the same question as one that is in the database, Mnemosyne will flag it.
Also, there is the menu option ‘Cards – find duplicate questions’.Note that duplicates are only detected within a given card type.

allow selecting text from both Q and A review fields together and copy it using Cntr-C
At the moment, you can only copy either from text selected in the Q field or in the A field, but not both together at the same time.
This would be particularly helpful for look-up of Words with IntelliWebSearch. E.g. for Chinese, IWS can launch 2 searches for MDBG and LineDict.
