cursor position in the card browser after editing/deleting a card
After editing or deleting a card in the card browser, the list is displayed again from the start.
Could the current/previous position in the list be remembered? Especially useful with very long lists.4 votes -
Allow resolving individual sync conflicts
When there is parallel review on two devices, it is very easy to have the grades go out of sync.
It would be great to be able to resolve individual conflicts, not have to copy the whole binary database in case of a conflict.4 votes -

Add UI Support for Vocabulary Cards with Three Sides (Pronunciation / Audio)
I think Mnemosyne already supports having more than two sister cards under the hood, and might be able to import N‐sided imports from Anki files, but there is still no way to use the Mnemosyne UI to create a vocabulary entry with three sister cards (Foreign Word→Translation+Pronunciation, Translation→Foreign Word+Pronunciation, Pronunciation→Foreign Word+Translation). Such a feature would be very useful for learning vocabulary in foreign languages with different writing systems. Additionally, implementation could be rather simple, such as through an additional checkbox for 'Also Test Listening Comprehension' when creating or editing an existing card.

On Android, Pictures should be resizeable by two-fingers gesture
If the "Question" or "Answer" is only composed of a picture, it should be possible to zoom in (or out, respectively) with the two-fingers touch.
The Picture should initially be sized to fit the canvas.
I am not sure, how to handle additional text: change text size together with the picture? Or leave it as displayed initially? (The first iteration might completely ignore additional text ;-)

Markdown style formatting (the old plugin doesn't work anymore) (+ I saw one request about search necessitating to include the formatting characters which is impractical)

Supermemo import
A robust supermemo import function would avoid me having to do my repetitions in both tools. The import has to carry over the learning history (difficulty and next interval or similar).

Activating Keywords
It would be very helpful if I could search for certain keywords in the (de)activate section and then activate those

Display set number of cards and redisplay learned cards at random
I’d like a feature where Mnemosyne stops displaying cards after a preset number of cards. Say like the 15 cards warning, but not displaying more cards. Since the continued display of cards makes me go into a clicking frenzy and going through cards faster than wise and without the full learning effect. It also skrews the time statistics. I just looked at a card that says it looked at that card for about two minutes average, I don’t look that long at cards, but I do leave Mnemosyne sitting opening to review more cards later.
In addition it would be…

Make text in error message selectable or copyable
If possible, make it easier for users to copy the text in errors so you don't have to type them manually or take a screenshot.
Also, if possible, make a button beside the error that takes the user to the bug reporter or forum.3 votes -
Surjective questions (e.g. random photo from a list, same answer)
Useful for learning the name of plants, animals, etc. In order not to memorize a photo with a name, without carefully check the characterization of the specimen, the photo should change randomly, from a list.

In the (de)-activate cards dialog, show how many cards are scheduled for each set
This would help the user to see, at a glance, which sets should be prioritised. At the moment, seeing how many cards are pending for each set is only possible by activating that set and inspecting the lower-right status bar.

Allow rating shared cards on website
For example http://mnemosyne-proj.org/card-sets/geography currently has "Test fsafda" as first set of cards. Anki website has it done better (though their sorting considers only average rating and ignores how many people voted).

make CTRL-C work in Card Browser for selected area, not just for one cell.
If one is out for holiday/trip with no computer, one might simply want to copy some upcoming vocabulary (e.g. 1 week) to excel and print them.It is is currently possible to sort by "next review" in Card Browser and select those lines. Unfortunately, CTRL-C will only copy one cell EVEN if one has selected multiple rows.
It would be great if it copied everything to a format that can be pasted into Excel as a vocabulary list.
I know the user will still have to repeat the words when he returns from his trip, but this is still MUCH better…3 votes -
Pronunciation and answer field divided in browse card
In the Browse Cards windows the pronunciation field is merged with the answer field. it would be nice to have the chance to split them in two columns so that you can sort them either by pronunciation field.

add a tool for importing databases (MS Access and the like)
I am missing a tool to help me import data from database sources, e.g. an .mdb (or similar) file. - Background: I have large collections of "cards" in MS Access (kind of a DIY "flashcards" database application). Of course, I could export this into a tab-separated .txt file and import it, but this would need various transformations. A tool in Mnemosyne should allow the user to first open a given database file (.mdb and so forth), then point to certain fields in it to tell Mnemosyne which source field will provide the contents for which target field. That's a standard…

Inversed cloze deletion
I'd like a feature that turns a question with multiple items (a list) and all the same answer into separate cards. Kind of like cloze deletion but instead of leaving one item blank and showing the other elements, just showing one element and hiding the other elements (or rather don't show them at all).
